“DOPA” is a 4-track EP made nearly 10 years after graduating from college in the same city, at the University of Pennsylvania. “I wanted these tracks to be more about strength. Returning to my alma mater to perform and talk about my work was a full-circle moment I never expected, so this felt right to do during that trip.” - Bazille.

WCWW

“WCWW” is an acronym for Bazille’s Lakota name, “Wakinyan Cante’ Waokiya Wicasa” which means “The Thunders Help His Heart To Help Others”. This project takes on themes of self-affirmation and confirmation, through a sonic journey that often calls to radio and driving. Released in 2023.

Rezisochronism (Just Jamez x Bazille)
Made in collaboration with Just Jamez in Tulsa, OK.
The title “Rezisochronism” blends isochronism and Rez to infer that ultimately, throughout all Native communities rural & urban, despite what we go through as peoples, we will always share a resiliency together. Thus, Bazille & Just Jamez set to display that with this piece, through collaboration on production, vocal features (both rapping and singing), and even in engineering, by TS the Solution of Panoramic Dreams. -
Taku Sni (Side A & B)

“Taku Sni” in Lakota/Dakota means “Nobody” in a sense. The album takes inspiration from this philosophy and places it in a curation of rap and production spliced together like VHS film strips to display a character, “Taku Sni” and his origin mythos. Released in 2022. -
Traveling The Multiverse w/Iktomi (Trilogy)

In 2019, Bazille was hosted by Just Jamez & TS the Solution at Spokane, WA for a residency sponsored by First Peoples Fund. Read more about this journey, and watch and listen to the 3-part series that came out of this collaboration, stemming off of topics about Iktomi, struggle and resilience.

Iyeska
Produced, Mixed & Mastered by Self-Taught Knowledge, aka Asharri The Vagabond aka The Derelict.
“Iyeska” in Lakota means “translator” but was often used to refer to “mixed bloods” or Natives who weren’t “full-blood”, sometimes derogatorily. Bazille sets the stage with this term, self-identifying as one, and takes listeners on a sound journey of the experience, embedded through the sounds of Self-Taught Knowledge, longtime idol/mentor of Bazille.

“Definitely something I hold close to heart, as I remember being a freshman in high school with these guys’ songs from SoundClick on my mp3 players, often hoping I could collaborate with them one day. I made sure each of these beats were made on an MPC just for the occasion.”

Mastincala (Tani Gordon x Bazille)

This 7-track EP was made in collaboration with Sicangu Lakota Artist Tani Gordon, both taking from inspirations that featured depictions of rabbits, bunnies, hares, etc. This project speaks on parallels and allegory that calls to survival, environmentalism and justice.

This 5-track EP was made in 1-night in collaboration with Bobby J - @bobbyj_999 on Instagram.
Each track, produced on the MPC One, aims to be a reflection of two rappers from Fort Thompson, throwing verses around and letting the beats play.

HORROR BOP VOL. 1 (remastered release)
Completely produced by Bazille, this Halloween release was made in ode to anthology-horror movies and series. Thus, the project features many different emcees on horror-esq beats sampling horror films, games and other terrifying sounds.

This EP is an entry into the “Crayon” series by Apple Breath Chainsaw.
“ABC is one of my favorite lyricists of all time, and the other producers in this series are some that I respect so much. To have my own brand of horror blended with ABC & stamped on this series, I’m eternally grateful.” Released in 2022.

Double Curve Motive - "Chief Of The Tribal Hall" (EP)
Double Curve Motive is Bazille & Dirk Whitebreast. “Chief of the Tribal Hall” is produced by Dirk Whitebreast - @dw641 on Instagram.
This EP first plays as one rap artists’ sound-journey towards getting the inspiration to finally rap and perform on stage. Through self doubt and access issues, he finally makes is way to the Tribal Hall for a performance and in the studio…. However, now that he’s finally made it to the microphone, what will he say? Released in 2021.

Franc Castle x Bazille - "SOULED OUT" (EP)
Produced, Mixed & Mastered by Franc Castle (formerly Genocide).
“SOULED OUT” is about an artist on the rez struggling to keep his soul through the struggles at hand, yet he continues to go. “Collaborating with Franc Castle, recording this project at his place in NoHeart, Eagle Butte, SD was such an iconic moment for me. I’ve looked up to Franc’s work since I was a little kid dreaming about doing this stuff, so this really meant a lot to me.” Released in 2018.
